Terms of Service

Geoff helps you plan a trip, coordinate a group, and get around on the ground. It uses AI to propose an itinerary and helper content (phrases, packing lists, place ideas).

Geoff’s itineraries, timings, travel estimates, place suggestions, translations, packing lists, and electrical/safety details are a helpful starting point, not a guarantee. Real-world conditions — transit delays, closures, prices, opening hours, exchange rates, and local events — change. Always verify anything time-critical (flights, buses, timed tickets) yourself. You’re responsible for your own travel decisions.

The in-app safety/SOS information (emergency number, meeting point) is a convenience only. It is not an emergency service and may be incomplete or unavailable. In an emergency, call your local emergency number directly.

Geoff has no login. Your device holds a private key that lets you edit trips you create — keep your device secure. Anyone with a trip’s link can view and contribute to that trip, so share links only with your group.

• Joining a trip is always free.
• Building trips requires a paid subscription (monthly or annual), sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Payment is charged to your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store / Google Play account settings.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change with notice. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

You keep ownership of the content you add (trip details, notes, photos, expenses). You grant Geoff the limited right to store, process, and display that content to run the app and share it with the people on your trip. You’re responsible for having the right to share what you upload, and for keeping it lawful and appropriate.

Don’t use Geoff to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload harmful or abusive content, disrupt the service, or attempt to access data that isn’t yours.

Geoff relies on third parties (AI, maps, geocoding, weather, exchange rates, push, and app-store billing). Their availability and results are outside our control, and their own terms may apply.

Geoff is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your reliance on the app’s plans, estimates, or information. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

We may update the app or these terms, and may suspend the service. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. We’ll update the date above when terms change.
